Q: Serrapeptase?
Does anyone have a clue in what store to buy this? I live in the northeast to narrow down the choices. Thanks and by the way, it’s organic
Sorry guys! Yahoo chose the location for the question…I forgot to look it through
A: Wrong section for this question. I suggest health food stores but more likely you’ll have to order on the web.
Q: Have you taken Serrapeptase Capsules and did they help you?
Have you used Serrapeptase capsules (tablets) and have they improved your health, also have you had any problems.
Thanks
A: Serrapeptase (or Serratiopeptidase, Serrazimes, or any other similar product) does help quite a bit with the joints, but it’s important to take it on an empty stomach. The reason is because it’s a proteolytic enzyme, which means it breaks down proteins… if you take it with food, that enzymatic activity will be used up in digesting the food instead of helping the joints.
I haven’t had any problems with it, nor have I heard of others having problems with it except those who were taking certain prescriptions, but if you have a blood coagulation issue or are taking drugs that affect blood coagulation, Serrapeptase (or similar products) shouldn’t be taken. Good luck and I hope I helped!
Q: has anyone tried serrapeptase and did it work unblocking blood clots?
A: Serrapeptase is unlikely to unblock blood clots inside the blood vessels. It may help in reabsorption of blood in tissues in case of a recent hematoma.
Q: Does serrapeptase really clean your arteries?
Or is it just another scam in this world of many scams?
A: Serrapeptase is a claimed anti-inflammatory said to treat back pain, heart attack, stroke, and asthma. No sufficient evidence has been produced to prove these claims and performance was declared as “generally poor” in trials.
Q: Does serrapeptase have any positive effect on plaque inthe cardo vascular system? Perhaps even remove some pl?
Does serrapeptase have any positive effect on plaque inthe cardo vascular system? Perhaps even remove some plaque?
A: Hey i tried serrapeptase and yes it does work but taking malic acid works better for removing plaque in the arteries. Maliac acid dissolves calcium or plaque in the arteries 3000mg 2-3 bottles cleans you right out. The serrapeptase also takes 2-3 bottles to do the job but you need to take more than than the label says in order for it to work. You can buy them both at swansons vitamin they sell the best stuff at the best price.
Q: Can Serrapeptase disolve or help with large eye floaters?
I’ve had eye floaters all my life…Now I have 2 huge jumpy ones that are obstructing my vision in my left eye. After 2 weeks I am going crazy from seeing all these spots, and was checked out by an opthamologist and told they go away. Can’t function properly….Please help…
A: It’s possible, but I wouldn’t bank on it. Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme (meaning it breaks down certain proteins), but it’s more beneficial specifically for joint health because of the proteins it breaks down. I’ve never heard of it helping with floaters or cataracts, but since cataracts is commonly from broken down proteins, it is possible it might help… but on the flip side, I haven’t seen any research that said the activity got to the lens of the eye.
With that being said, I’ve seen eye drops that were primarily N-AcetylCarnosine that may help with various aspects of cataracts, but those are applied directly into the eyes so you don’t have to worry about it getting there when you swallow a pill. I’ve heard of a lot of success with these, but they tend to be pricey, too, so I’d shop around if you want to try them. Good luck and I hope I helped!
Q: which stores sell serrapeptase besides online?
Many websites ads sell serrapeptase but we don’t know which one is quality trust-worthy. Any referral?
A: call the company
Q: Serrapeptase, has anyone tried it lately, does it work on pain?
A: Serrapeptase, I had to put in search to see what it is. The main note I saw is below without reading the rest. Is there proof or is it just another way to get our money we need for other real needs? Reason and make your own choice to use or not to use.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serrapeptase
“Some alternative medicine proponents claim that serratiopeptidase is beneficial for pain and inflammation[3] but there is no compelling evidence” “no compelling evidence”? Reason!
Q: Does anyone have any experience with Serrapeptase silkworm enzyme? What did you use it for, dosage, etc.?
Does anyone have any experience with Serrapeptase silkworm enzyme? Does it really dissolve scar tissue? Is it safe? What did you use it for, dosage, time needed for result, etc.
A: I’ve never heard of it dissolving scar tissue, but it helps break down fibrin which is a protein involved in the clotting process….. so it’s possible it might so a little for scar tissue, but I doubt it. It also helps with joint health and helps mucus drain more easily.
If you are looking for help with scar tissue, I’d recommend Vitamin E or Aloe Vera used externally on the scar.
Q: Does Serrapeptase break down scar tissue/keloids?
I’ve heard it does. I am taking it for my keloid scars and its supposed to break down fibrin or scar tissue. I was wondering if anyone knows more about it and how long it would take to get rid of my keloids?
A: Sorry, Anna. There is no substance known to medical science which is effective in breaking down scar tissue or keloids, whether rubbed on the skin or taken internally. Indeed, if there were such a stuff it would be very dangerous, because it would dissolve all the other proteins in tissues with a better blood supply than scar tissue. Don’t waste your money.
Q: has anyone had luck with serrapeptase and any scar tissue, plaque, fiberious tissue ect?
brought me some today and took some today. Has anyone had luck with this in treating internal scar tissue, plaque fiberious tissue ect?
also will bromelain breakdown healthy living tissue or only the scar tissue, plaque fiberious tissue like serrapeptase?
A: Yes I have and yes it does work, but over time.
Q: what controlled scientific medical clinical trials have been done with serrapeptase?
A: Serrapeptase, also known as Serratia peptidase, is a proteolytic enzyme isolated from the non-pathogenic enterobacteria Serratia E15. When consumed in unprotected tablets or capsules, the enzyme is destroyed by acid in the stomach. However, enterically-coated tablets enable the enzyme to pass through the stomach unchanged, and be absorbed in the intestine. Serrapeptase is found in negligible amounts in the urine, suggesting that it is transported directly from the intestine into the bloodstream.(15,16)

Clinical studies show that serrapeptase induces fibrinolytic, anti-inflammatory and anti-edemic (prevents swelling and fluid retention) activity in a number of tissues, and that its anti-inflammatory effects are superior to other proteolytic enzymes.(17)
Besides reducing inflammation, one of serrapeptase’s most profound benefits is reduction of pain, due to its ability to block the release of pain-inducing amines from inflamed tissues.(18) Physicians throughout Europe and Asia have recognized the anti-inflammatory and pain-blocking benefits of this naturally occurring substance and are using it in treatment as an alternative to salicylates, ibuprofen, and other NSAIDs.(19)
