Q: should have I mixed these 2 drugs for allergies?
I’ve had a really bad cough and nasel passages clogged. I took an off brand of Zyrtec and this morning Sinular, I’m also on a heart med., antidepressant, and took some xenedrine for weight loss. I feel overly hyper now, unsupprisingly, is this a dangerous mixture.

A: i am also on heart meds my doctor told me never to take over the counter diet pills if i were you i would call the doctor its better to be safe than sorry

Q: my daughter is 3 years old and has asthma?
when she has a hard time breathing she has breathing treatments (albuteral) and she is on sinular and qvar but when it gets really bad they prescribe prednisone for a couple of days i was wondering if any one has a three year old with asthma if they take prednisone and how much and how many days im just curious it seems like my daughter takes a lot

A: Prednisone is a systemic steroid with lots of unpleasant side effects. It should be used sparingly or not at all, in my opinion (I’m a Respiratory Therapist). Rather, I would recommend that the dose of Qvar be temporarily increased and/or Albuterol get switched with Xopenex (stronger, fewer side effects) for a limited period of time. If your daughter is prone to very bad asthma attacks, I recommend substituting Albuterol with Xopenex permanently. It is more expensive but works much more strongly. If Xopenex or increased dose of Qvar can avoid your daughter going on Prednisone, I would talk to your doctor about this. I’m sure that you have read the side effect sheet that comes with the Prednisone prescription and understand why I am not a big fan of anyone using a systemic steroid.

Q: I can’t get off of seroquel!!!!
7 years ago I was in detox for alcohol and cocaine. I was having nightmares and the Doc. put me on 200mg of seroquel. It cut out the nightmares and made me feel like a zombie. I take cymbolta for depression. I am not bipolar. I gained a about 30 pounds. I can’t sleep without seroquel. I tried to stop it and was up for six days! Being an addict I can’t take much of anything. I have two years in AA so I will not take anything that will harm my recovery. My problem is that I want off this stuff and can’t get off. I don’t like the drugging feeling. I take 75mg now. I have gotton down to 25mg. My psyc. seems to feel it is ok for me to be on such a low dose. I hate this stuff! It makes me pig out at night when it hits and I know it affects me during the day giving me a drugged feeling. My hair started falling out recently. I wonder if seroquel has anything to do with it. I have tried several other sleep meds such as ambiem and nothing works!!! Does serquel make your bones sensitive? Just a little pressure on my bones hurts! Seroquel is a nightmare to try to get off of. I am addicted to it for sleep only. Do you go into rem sleep with seroquel? Has anyone had sinular problems with this med and found a way out? Please help!

A: Seroquel is a freaking devil I was on it for 4 years. I have been off of it for almost 2 years. and I am slo and recovering drug addict… i have been in your exact spot… It is not a safe sleeping drug… some studies have lead to believe that it causes stomach canser also… I do believe that your side effect are a resault of it because my hair thined out horribly when I was on it and I noticedmy bones being briteler.. My advise would be to start weening your self off cut your pills into half and try taking those then if that works after a couple weeks maybe a month try cutting them into 4th and taking one 4th of the pill… my doc didnt agree with it but it helped me… You could alsp try taking 2 or 2 1/2 pills of tylonal pm instead of seroquel… it is not half as addicting as what your on but it is still a good sleeping pill… Well Im not sure if this will work for you but I wish you the best of luck with getting off of it…

Q: Kayak swimming pool liner help?
My Kayak pool liner has pulled away from all 4 corners its a 16 x 32 & has a hopper 5 1/2 ft deep end. We drained the pool & Cleaned it. The liner has shrunk some but there are some large wrinkles in the corners. It was professionally intalled in 2004. They said liners are not warrentyed. Any one have a sinular problem or can any one help. I called several pool places & they all want 2000.00 to put in a new one. Kyak wants 1000.00 for the liner alone. Kayak also as of last year changed the liners so non of the pool stores carry it. We need it for physical theropy for our daughter whom was hit by a car with many injuries. ANY HELP WELCOME Lusby MD
Grumpy great info but, Kayak changed thier liners and on the sight you gave me they said the same thing. So Could you email me so I can send you pics of what I am talking about? in the corners 3 of the corners are 1 inch away & the 1 corner is 3 inches. I have the install manual. I dont understand the shop vac method? Could you send me to a sight for that or maybe on Utube or something. Thanks loads

A: You should take the liner off a part of 1 wall, stretch the liner to secure it in the closest corner, you can cut small pcs of wood (1/4″ x 1″ x 1/8″ high) to stick in between the the liner (after it is folded into the runner) and the top to hold it in place. then go back and secure the walls. Do this to the other walls and corners. we use a small pc of wood on either side of each corner, it keeps the liner secure in the corner. It is much easier to stretch the liner into the walls than into the corners, so do your corner first, then the wall. just make your way around inch by inch. It’s definately a pain in the butt, but it is doable.

In Shurley Method it says that a singular subjet takes a sinular verb, so shouln’t it read, The band was running in all directions.

A: The word is Grammatically correct. The word is subject, and singular, and was means a past event, and were means the present event.
